Call for COVID-19 Proposals (internal Rutgers competitive funding opportunity)

The Rutgers Center for COVID-19 Response and Pandemic Preparedness (CCRP2) and the COVID Research Alliance are pleased to announce an intramural funding opportunity for COVID-19 research at Rutgers.

We welcome proposals from all departments and institutes across Rutgers University. Proposals are due Monday, April 15, 2020.

These intramural COVID-19 research grants are intended to build research teams focused on COVID-19 related research, and provide support for the rapid acquisition of preliminary data and proof-of-concept evidence to support extramural funding applications.

Given our expertise and the health needs at the state and national levels, we are excited to announce the establishment of the Center for COVID-19 Response and Pandemic Preparedness (CCRP2) to address SARS CoV-2, the causative pathogen of COVID-19, and other emerging pathogen threats. The goal for this center is to serve as an institutional hub for COVID-19 research activities and information dissemination and to support faculty and researchers from across Rutgers University with the common goal of advancing COVID-19 research.
